Kipling Cub Pack is run by John Morgan (Akela), Katherine Mordecai-Woolf (Kaa), Joanne Morgan (Rikki-Tikki-Tavi) & Lindsy Lane-Goble (Rak sha), with three young leaders Sam, Molly & Phoebe.
Kipling Cubs, its name taken from the author of 'The Jungle Book', is one of two Cub Packs which are part of 1st Snodland Scout Group.
Kipling Cubs meet on Tuesdays at the Snodland Cadet Hall and provide an exciting programme for both boys and girls which develops on the skills learnt in Beavers and builds knowledge in preparation for joining the Scout section. We have been doing weekly Zoom meetings staying in touch and finding out what everyone has been up to.
Cub Scouts is also often the first opportunity the young people get to go on a camping experience away from home without their parents. These camps encourage the young people to be together and enjoy the fun, but also try life skill activities such as archery, climbing or sailing.
We are always on the lookout for any helpers, or anyone offering their time or skills to help educate the Cubs and make them aware of the world around them. If you have any spare time you would like to offer the group, please contact John Morgan on 07729122873 alternatively, you can e-mail the group on firstname.lastname@example.org
