Christie Beavers
Christie Beavers - one of the oldest beaver scout colonies in the United Kingdom. Christie Beaver Colony recently celebrated 25 years of Beaver Scouts in Snodland. 1st Snodland Scout Group introduced Beaver Scouting for young boys aged 6-8 ahead of them formally being introduced in the UK 3 years later.
Christie Beavers meet on a Thursday at the Snodland Scout Centre and provide a range of exciting activities which encourage achievement, team-work and most importantly, ensure fun for both boys and girls.
Beaver Scouts also have the opportunity to take part in a Sleepover, which is often a young persons first experience of a night away from their family, and they all thoroughly enjoy.
