After that, 3 explorers from Snodland and 1 of the Leaders attended the World Scout Jamboree, a huge event of 42,500 people. Whilst this was happening, the rest of 1st Snodland took part in Scouting's Sunrise on the 1st August, and celebrated the start of a new century, and 1st Snodland's 75th Birthday. And to continue the summer, the Scout Troop had its summer camp, at Belchamps in Essex. As the summer drew to an end, the whole group took part in The Big Event, a Kent Scouts activity day with loads of activities. To end it off, the Cub packs have recently just had their camp. So overall we've had a very busy summer, but we've been scouting our way through it.
