Here Comes Summer! - 30-06-2010
1st Snodland Scout Group is gearing up as it's full-steam ahead in to our action packed summer schedule.
This weekend will see the Group's reputation for supporting the community enhanced, as it provides car parking services to two events, in two different venues at the same time! Both events will have thousands of people at, so a great chance for our profile.
As we move further in to July, we've got the Snodland Carnival. This is a great fundraising day for us, and all money raised will be towards the new Scout Centre. An opportunity to see the members of the Beaver and Cub sections in their costumes for the parade.
Forward another week, and it's the big one. The Scout Show has arrived. We're presenting a musical tour of the West End, with songs from several musicals. For more info about the show, click on 'A Tour of the West End' in the menu on the left.
Of course, during this time we've still got our paper collections, and all our normal section meetings, so a busy time for us, but certainly one which be fun.
